Hello and welcome back to my blog.
Today's post is about our class's most recent Skype Chat with Randall Rothenberg. Mr. Rothenberg was originally writing for various print magazines before he became an editor at the New York Times. I was very interested in the story of his life and how he went from college to where he is today. He also worked for the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) to define how large advertisements in the form of banners and sidebars would be on websites.
He also told us that someday we will be leading a section of a company or even running a large or small company and that we need to have a sense of humanity. For example, he told us that you need to understand why someone may be a hard worker one year and how to understand why there work may not be as good the next year. I agree with him in this aspect. By being more a more "human" boss, you can better interact and understand your employees.
