Hello and welcome to my IMM (Interactive Multimedia) Blog. I've never done any form of blogging before but it's fun to try new things. This blog will consist of my responses to various class activities as well as things that interest me from the world of digital media.
So I will begin my first blog post with my response to the Skype Chat our class had with Liz Henry.
I found it our Skype Chat with Liz Henry very interesting. I enjoyed hearing from someone in the field who is utilizing or has utilized all the tools we are learning in class to make them successful. I was interested with how open standards and open source programming was first created on the Internet. It seems that without open source programming, the Internet would be vastly different that how it is today. With open source programming people have been able to work with others around the world to develop a new program. This allows many different people from all over the world to implement several different ideas and ways of thinking in the development of a program. That's pretty amazing if you ask me.
