Anaezi Modu Response

Today's post is about our Skype chat with Anaezi Modu whose company specializes in helping other companies rebrand themselves. The way they accomplish this is by going to companies and telling them how to rebrand themselves and redefine their image. In my opinion this is a brilliant decision from a business standpoint. Companies have to spend time and money working to rebrand themselves. By offering to do this for them, you make the company want to hire you so they don't have to do the work themselves.

She also spoke about how we shouldn't be confined to our major. For example if you are a biology major, that does not mean that you should only know about biology and nothing else. If you know biology along with some web design and maybe some physics, you look more favorable to a company that is trying to hire you because you have a larger array of skills to work from. This part of the Skype chat influenced me the most because it told me that it was ok and even beneficial to work outside the box to get skills that are outside your basic skill set.
